The Fighting Black Kings…I loved this movie sooo much

This was an amazing flick. This documentary was jumping off right when the b-boy/b-girl movement (incorrectly called “break dancing” by most in the media) was beginning….Be clear, this is NOT a Hip-Hop movie…..However, there is no battle MC, DJ, Graff writer or b-boy who has not been in some way influenced by martial arts…Not just as a link into Eastern philosophical ideals that they had no previous access to…But also, just giving the youth an idea, that with hard work and conviction, they could do things beyond comprehension…The Fighting Black Kings was just one example
